Description

• Hybrid role approximately 60% engineering and 40% leadership, combining hands-on engineering with team leadership to build and deliver high-quality, scalable web solutions.

• Lead agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and drive execution to ensure healthy team rhythm and delivery.

• Cultivate and uphold a shared culture of excellence—define how the team works together, set clear expectations for collaboration and accountability, and continuously improve those standards.

• Serve as the direct supervisor for web developers, providing mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback.

• Contribute code as a senior developer—own key projects, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Guide architectural decisions and promote strong coding practices, testing, and documentation standards.

• Collaborate on planning and prioritization of technical work across the team and company.

• Support developer growth through skill development, training, and opportunities for advancement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity

• Advanced experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS

• Strong experience with PHP (Laravel or similar), Python/Django, or Ruby on Rails

• Solid understanding of database architecture and design

• Proven ability to lead agile development teams and deliver high-quality software

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to give constructive feedback and foster team growth

• Must be able to work 9am–5pm EST

• Experience working with Renewed Vision Products (ProPresenter, PVP, ProScoreboard) in production environments.

• DevOps or infrastructure experience (CI/CD, deployment pipelines, cloud hosting).

• Prior experience supervising direct reports.
