UX Engineer

Description

• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to transform designs into functional components • Ensure components are optimized for performance and compatibility • Attend daily stand-ups to align with the team • Code reusable, accessible, and adaptable UI components • Conduct accessibility tests to meet WCAG standards • Update documentation with usage guidelines and examples • Review implementations to ensure they align with the design system consistently • Plan and prioritize next steps to improve scalability and user experience

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience preferred • 5+ years of proven experience in UI development • Proven expertise in developing and maintaining design systems • Experience with various front-end frameworks and development tools • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript • Proficiency in tools like Storybook and Figma • Ability to implement WCAG accessibility standards
