• As a Staff UI Engineer at Nexla, you will be a technical leader responsible for architecting and building the next generation of our user-facing platform that democratizes data operations for teams worldwide.
• You'll lead the design and implementation of complex, scalable frontend systems that make sophisticated data integration accessible through intuitive, powerful interfaces.

• Lead the architectural design and implementation of complex frontend systems and components across Nexla's data integration platform.
• Build sophisticated, intuitive user interfaces for complex data integration workflows, making enterprise-grade capabilities accessible to both technical and non-technical users.
• Partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver seamless end-to-end user experiences.
• Research and evaluate emerging frontend technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance our development capabilities.
• 8+ years of frontend development experience with deep expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and web technologies
• 5+ years experience with React, including advanced patterns like hooks, context, state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, etc.)
• 3+ years in a senior or staff-level role with demonstrated technical leadership experience
• Strong proficiency in modern CSS, responsive design, and frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.)
• Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript ES6+, TypeScript, and modern frontend development practices
• Deep understanding of React ecosystem, including state management, routing, testing frameworks, and performance optimization
• Experience with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, Recharts) and building complex, interactive visualizations
• Proficiency in frontend testing strategies including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization, accessibility standards (WCAG), and SEO best practices
• Proven experience architecting large-scale frontend applications and component-based design systems
• Strong understanding of API integration, RESTful services, GraphQL, and real-time data handling (WebSockets, Server-Sent Events)
• Experience with micro-frontend architectures, module federation, or similar distributed frontend patterns
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and drive technical standards across teams
• Experience building complex enterprise applications, developer tools, or data management platforms
• Understanding of user experience principles and ability to collaborate effectively with design teams
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and modern software development lifecycle practices
