Staff Software Engineer, Frontend

Description

• Lead architecture of scalable, maintainable, and performant front-end solutions • Drive adoption of common frameworks, patterns, and practices • Establish front-end best practices, design patterns, and coding standards • Guide responsible AI adoption in software development while maintaining patient safety, quality, and maintainability • Mentor and support the technical growth of front-end engineers through pair programming and documentation • Reduce technical debt and improve workflow efficiency • Implement monitoring, incident response, and performance optimization tools and processes • Define a multi-quarter front-end architecture roadmap for Pharmacy and Fulfillment • Collaborate with designers to create intuitive user experiences • Conduct design and code reviews and facilitate knowledge sharing • Monitor industry trends and propose innovative enhancements • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and Engineering leaders to deliver solutions for pharmacy operations and customer order fulfillment

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience • Track record of setting front end technical direction across multiple teams • Experience building scalable web applications and services, preferably in a cloud environment • Proficiency with HTML, CSS, React, React Native, NextJs, TypeScript, Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, and Redis • Experience with monitoring and CI/CD technologies such as Datadog, GitHub Actions, and CircleCI • Hands-on experience using AI tools in engineering workflows • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet goals without management oversight
