Staff Software Development Engineer

Description

• Collaborate with engineering leaders to establish technical vision and strategy for the Developer portal • Guide architectural decisions that balance immediate business needs with long-term technical health • Write code strategically, focusing on high-leverage components, patterns, and examples • Review code with an eye toward system design, scalability, and maintainability • Investigate emerging technologies that could benefit our platform and developers

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in web development • 5+ years of experience in JavaScript and TypeScript • 3+ years of experience in API development • Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React and Next.js preferred) • Experience with Java and Spring Boot • Track record of technical leadership on projects impacting multiple teams • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences • Proven experience mentoring and growing other engineers • Experience building and maintaining systems at scale • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Highschool diploma plus 4 years relevant work experience)
