Staff Fullstack Engineer

Description

• Partner closely with leadership and teammates to prioritize and execute on the product roadmap. • Design, develop, and own complex features and software components end-to-end. • Deliver robust, scalable, and well-tested code across the full stack. • Help establish engineering best practices and lay the foundation for a high-performing, healthy team culture. • Collaborate with Design and Operations to continuously improve the platform day-to-day.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience. • 3+ years of experience contributing to system design or architecture. • True full-stack proficiency — building features with TypeScript/JavaScript on the frontend and Node.js on the backend (or strong frontend/React focus with solid backend competency). • Hands-on experience with React; ideally a well-balanced fullstack engineer or someone who skews frontend. • Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery — ability to architect, deploy, and operate scalable cloud services. • Experience modeling, querying, and optimizing MongoDB schemas for performance at scale. • Strong testing discipline across unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; comfort with modern testing frameworks. • Track record of providing technical leadership and mentoring engineers. • Proven ability to collaborate with executive stakeholders (CEO/CTO) and cross-functional teams to define strategy and requirements. • Background at product-driven tech companies (e.g. enterprise software, data platforms, or consulting-adjacent SaaS).
