Staff Frontend Engineer

Description

• Architect, design, build, and maintain high-performing white-labeled micro-frontends • Use Angular, TypeScript, and modern web standards to develop consumer health platforms • Improve consumer-facing applications’ performance, accessibility, and micro-interactions • Prioritize and execute high-leverage product and business opportunities • Establish frontend best practices for state management, component reusability, and build pipelines • Drive frontend architecture as a premier individual contributor • Report into Engineering Leadership • Build seamless access points that help millions of people navigate their health and care

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional frontend software engineering experience • Deep mastery of modern JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS/SCSS • Expert-level knowledge in Angular or equivalent deep mastery in modern React/Vue • Proven track record of quickly adapting to new technologies • Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and maintaining micro-frontend architectures and white-label design systems at scale • Strong understanding of UI design details, rendering performance, web vitals, and delightful user interactions • Track record as a high-impact individual contributor who can take ambiguous requirements and ship polished production code quickly • Ability to articulate complex architectural decisions and technical trade-offs to engineering peers and business stakeholders
