Staff Front End Software Engineer

Description

• Develop front-end web applications for Parkade's B2B2C SaaS platform for private parking management • Make architectural and design decisions informed by past achievements and mistakes • Adopt AI pragmatically and responsibly for individual development work and for the team • Produce prolifically with AI assistance while applying mature staff-engineer judgment • Contribute meaningfully to a fast-moving, dynamic startup environment • Continuously and proactively level up technical skills • Report directly to the VP of Engineering • Travel to San Francisco for an in-person interview session and occasionally as an employee if hired

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on front-end experience building commercial applications • Strong interest in and background in front-end web development • Ability to travel to San Francisco for an in-person interview session and, if hired, from time to time as an employee • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now or in the future • Proficiency with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Vite, TanStack Router, Tailwind CSS, Material UI, TanStack Query, React Hook Form, Pineapple Express, Vitest, Playwright, Stripe, Firebase, and Sentry • Proficiency with Python or a similar backend language is a bonus • Experience setting up and improving CI/CD infrastructure is a bonus • Experience building something significant from the ground up is a bonus
