Software Engineering Intern

Description

• Work on projects that impact the business and contribute to Transcarent's mission of better health and care • Gain exposure to how a real engineering team works, from sprint planning to shipping code • Work alongside engineers from diverse backgrounds (web development, mobile, API, etc.) • Have a formal mentor on your team guiding you throughout your internship • Work alongside a highly skilled team of engineers who will guide and shape your growth as a software professional

Requirements

• Is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field • Has proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, TypeScript, etc.) • Understands software design principles and RESTful API concepts • Has strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills • Has a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment • Experience with frontend or backend frameworks (React, JS, Node.js, Django, etc.) (Nice to have) • Coursework or project work involving full-stack development or API integrations (Nice to have) • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows (Nice to have) • Has familiarity with cloud platforms (Nice to have)
