As a engineer with Utopia, you will help build + layout our engineering foundation and craft our product backbone. If you're interested in championing technological leadership in the web3 space, we'd love for you to apply!

Responsibilities

Participate in the initial scoping of product requirements for new features and products
Developing products from designs and specifications to live deployments.
Build out new features and products with the product team.
Help address customer feature requests
Build out prospective integrations with partners and protocols
Create trustworthy user experiences by building interfaces that are simple, easy to comprehend, performant and reliable using modern tools like React, Typescript, and GraphQL

Requirements

Experience with Javascript + front-end frameworks such as Javascript, Typescript, NodeJS, Express, NextJS, or similar.
Development experience using NodeJS, Express, NextJS, or similar
Understanding of GraphQL
Solid experience architecting solutions (experience in different architecture layers and components) through multiple frameworks
Proficiency with Git
A good understanding of CI/CD
Experience developing with a test-driven mentality

Nice to have

Hackathon experience or competitive programming
Experience contributing to open-source projects
1-3+ years full-time software engineering experience
Experience contributing to open-source projects
Experience writing smart contracts
Demonstrated interest in open and community-driven platforms.
