• Working in a growing engineering team focused on the design, build and maintenance of TRI’s web and software applications.
• Supporting, mentoring and coaching more junior members of the team.
• Collaborating with Engineering, Product and Test colleagues to gain an understanding of product requirements, technical strategies and testing implications.
• Creating effort and time estimations for User and Tech Stories with the Lead Software Engineer, Product Owner, and other engineers.
• Proven commercial experience as a Software Engineer or similar role with 2+ years' experience.
• Good knowledge and experience with backend languages, especially .NET and C#.
• Good knowledge and experience with frontend languages, specifically React and TypeScript/JavaScript/Angular/Vue.
• Good knowledge and experience with APIs, especially RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Intermediate knowledge and experience with Relational Database Systems (such as SQL) and Document Databases (such as Mongo DB, Cosmos DB, etc).
• Understanding of Service Orientated Architecture (SOA) and Microservice Architecture.
• Understanding of containerization-based systems (Kubernetes/Docker).
• Intermediate knowledge of Agile/Scrum Framework and associated tooling, e.g., Azure DevOps.
• Intermediate knowledge and experience using Git Repos and commands.
