• Lead all stages of the software development lifecycle, including design meetings, data layouts, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Architect software solutions and prepare functional and design documentation, including user requirements, unit test plans, and user documentation
• Participate in code reviews, conduct unit and functional testing, and partner with QA to resolve bugs
• Develop new software using various programming and scripting languages, business process toolsets, and data modeling/reporting tools
• Maintain and enhance business applications in both client-server and web-based environments
• Collaborate with stakeholders to set policies for coding, review, and design
• Provide technical expertise to support teams in resolving customer issues
• Work within an agile development methodology and perform the role of scrum master
• Identify and resolve software performance issues
• Deliver product demonstrations to leadership and stakeholders
• Conduct periodic technology overview and training sessions
• May lead projects and perform other duties as assigned
• Occasional business travel may be required
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related technical field required
• Seven (7) plus years of related industry experience required
• Previous experience in the healthcare or insurance industry preferred
• Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• Expert in React Native with a proven track record of building and maintaining mobile applications for both iOS and Android
• Proficient in React and familiar with AI-assisted development tools and workflows (preferred)
• Strong familiarity with backend services, REST APIs, and AWS cloud infrastructure
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control (Git), and branching strategies
• Solid understanding of testing frameworks, test-driven development, and automated QA practices
• Knowledge of performance monitoring, mobile analytics, and observability tools
• Exposure to HIPAA compliance, secure data exchange, and healthcare interoperability (bonus)
• Proficient in enterprise relational databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2)
• Strong familiarity with UI technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Strong familiarity with Figma UX/UI design tool
• Occasional business travel may be required
