As a Software Engineer III, you’ll spend your days translating requirements into solutions, writing code, collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing us with the insights necessary to think beyond the status quo. You’ll oversee small project teams consisting of other engineers who will look to you as a trusted advisor, a subject matter expert who provides guidance and the right tools to get the job done.

We also optimize tariffs and assortment in accordance with Walmart's Everyday Low Cost philosophy. We not only create affordability, but we also deliver customized experiences for customers across all channels - in-store, mobile app, and websites.

What You'll Bring
- Over 3+ years of professional experience as a hands-on Frontend Developer
- Expert in developing Web Applications with React and related technologies
- Knowledge and practical experience with Storybook component library for efficient UI development and documentation.
- Proficient in JavaScript, React, Next.js, and TypeScript
- Experience in styling frameworks, including SCSS and CSS, for responsive design
- Skilled in unit testing with Jest and integration/end-to-end testing with Cypress
- Experience working with GraphQL services and RESTful APIs
- Familiar with OOP design principles and component-driven development
- BONUS: Understanding of backend fundamentals with experience in Java/Spring Boot
- Strong problem-solving skills with a highly analytical mindset
- Effective team player with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interpret, follow, and implement technical plans and design requirements
- Knowledgeable in CI/CD processes, version control, and agile workflows
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and accessibility best practices
