• Serve as an emerging technical leader within the engineering team • Own complex development efforts while mentoring other engineers, improving engineering processes, and ensuring successful delivery • Design, develop, and maintain complex user-facing applications using Angular, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript • Translate Figma designs into responsive, accessible interfaces using established Design System components • Lead development of reusable UI components and evolve the Design System across multiple applications • Develop, maintain, and improve automated UI testing using Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks • Ensure frontend implementations meet WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex production issues • Participate in on-call rotations and improve application monitoring and observability • Mentor Software Engineers I and II through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing • Collaborate with backend engineers, QA, UX designers, Product Managers, and stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent additional experience in lieu of a degree • Advanced experience developing modern web applications using Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 • Experience implementing complex user interfaces from Figma or comparable design tools • Experience building reusable component libraries and working within enterprise Design Systems • Strong experience with automated UI testing using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks • Strong understanding of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and accessible frontend development practices • Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services • Experience with Git/GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development workflows • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex frontend issues across development, testing, and production environments • Experience mentoring engineers and conducting technical code reviews • Strong communication and collaboration skills within Agile software development teams
