Software Engineer II, Fullstack

Description

• Build products that help millions of people improve their relationship with money • Develop full stack web and mobile applications using JavaScript and TypeScript • Work with product management and design teams to define feature specifications and build products using React and React Native • Design and develop fully tested APIs interfacing with multiple services • Deliver high-quality code incrementally across multiple pull requests • Write unit and integration tests to support squad-owned quality • Work with operations and infrastructure teams to build and scale backend services • Participate in code reviews and other team functions • Develop subscription management and onboarding features for the Acquisition Growth team • Contribute to experimentation, A/B testing, and data-driven member acquisition and onboarding initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a similar program, with other majors considered alongside relevant experience and/or training • 2+ years of experience in software development • Strong computer science fundamentals and problem-solving skills • Experience working as part of a team • Experience programming in one or more general-purpose languages, including JavaScript, Java, Python, C/C++, or Go • Experience with TypeScript and Node.js, MySQL, Google Cloud Platform, React Native, and React is a plus • Effective communication skills and ability to give and receive constructive feedback • Ability to discuss and explain system architecture and component design • Permanent authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
