Software Engineer, Front End

Description

• Build and maintain the user interface for the Falcon cybersecurity platform • Own the policy framework powering endpoint sensor configuration across the Falcon platform • Build reusable policy pages and components for integration by other product teams • Collaborate with front end engineers, cloud engineers, product management, and SDETs • Own features from design through delivery, including automated testing and code reviews • Mentor junior engineers and champion accessibility, performance, and scalable component architecture • Build tools and identify improvements that enhance team productivity and developer experience • Use AI to accelerate development processes • Participate in planning and reviews to influence the product roadmap and technical architecture • Deliver and accept feedback • Attend occasional in-person meetings requiring some travel

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building features for a web application • Good understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript • Experience building web application user interfaces with modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular • Strong web development fundamentals, including HTML and CSS • Experience with testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies such as Jest, Playwright, or Cypress • Comfort using AI tools as part of development processes • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI (bonus) • Experience with graphics and visualization tools such as D3 or ThreeJS (bonus) • Familiarity with client-side build processes and tools such as Ember CLI or Webpack (bonus) • Experience creating or contributing to open source projects (bonus) • Familiarity with websocket and real-time web services (bonus) • Experience with UI performance measurement and optimization (bonus) • Experience with web accessibility testing and support (bonus)
