Software Engineer

Description

• Design and build agent-driven experiences for SOX control testing • Own complex end-to-end workstreams across the full stack • Improve reliability, repeatability, performance, and observability of long agentic runs • Turn agent output into finished audit deliverables and structured workpapers adaptable to firm templates • Ship code from day one and take ownership of significant product areas • Collaborate with product managers, designers, SOX subject matter experts, and customer-facing teams • Shape technical direction for agentic systems, AI tooling, and engineering practices • At senior levels, lead complex projects, set technical direction, shape roadmaps, mentor engineers, and serve as a domain expert • At staff level, drive company-level technical initiatives, define engineering standards, influence architecture, and advise leadership

Requirements

• Strong full-stack engineer who writes code every day • Built with LLMs in production against real users • Comfortable working full-stack with backend depth in agent orchestration • Able to work autonomously from an ambiguous specification • Collaborative mindset across product management, design, and domain experts • Willingness to develop an Applied AI skillset, including writing evaluations and using LLM observability tools • Startup experience, founder or early-engineer experience, 0→1 project experience, customer-facing experience, and internal audit/SOX/financial services/accounting/compliance experience are nice-to-have • Familiarity with TypeScript, React, GraphQL, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Python, and Temporal is nice-to-have • Experience with document processing, PDF/Excel manipulation, or model-output evaluation frameworks is nice-to-have
