• Execute assigned development tasks with accuracy and timeliness, translating business and technical requirements into functional, maintainable code. • Develop a strong understanding of Valenz Bluebook’s development frameworks, coding standards, and best practices while continuously improving programming and problem-solving skills. • Collaborate with senior team members to learn system architecture, coding patterns, and design principles that support scalable, cloud-based solutions. • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving urgent customer issues by analyzing system behavior, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions. • Apply logical reasoning and creative thinking to approach challenges and develop innovative solutions to complex technical problems. • Contribute actively in team meetings, daily huddles, and code reviews by sharing progress updates, offering feedback, and providing accurate time estimates for assigned work. • Gain hands-on experience in developing and supporting web applications and web API services within a modern cloud-based architecture. • Embrace opportunities for mentorship and feedback to build technical expertise and business knowledge relevant to Valenz Bluebook’s mission and products. • Perform other duties as assigned.
• 1+ year of experience working within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), with a focus on translating business requirements into functional, high-quality code. • Experience/Proficiency in: Relational database querying and Data Definition Language (DDL) using SQL Server. • Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, preferably with C#. • Source control systems such as Git for version management and collaboration. • Modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js. • JavaScript and TypeScript for client-side development. • HTML and CSS for web application front-end design. • A plus if you have: Hands-on experience in software development using the .NET framework or similar technologies. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or completion of a technical bootcamp/certification in software development.
