Role Summary

Software Engineers collaborate as part of a team for the development of complex systems; including requirements analysis, concept development and design, implementation, and testing, demonstrating flexibility of role as required. They help troubleshoot, debug, maintain and improve existing software. What You Will Do:

• Develop solutions for our Security Operations Product team to use for threat/detection/case workflow.
• Develop solutions for products used by Security Operations customers.
• Take direction from other developers to design and implement product requirements.
• Write code (product and test) to deliver against project timeline, quality and requirements.
• Research, design and prototype new functionality that forms part of a larger solution, in line with team objectives.
• Learn how to scale solutions and integrate with solutions produced by other teams to meet wider objectives.

Requirements

• Up to two years of development experience is a plus, preferably expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Familiarity of front-end technologies such as HTML and CSS, desirable is experience of React/Angular
• Awareness of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Awareness of agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to problem solve and think laterally
• An enthusiastic approach to work with a pride in a job well done
