Software Developer

Description

• Work closely with a squad lead engineer, a product manager, a UX designer, a QA engineer and other engineers • Participate in daily standups involving the entire Product team • Collaborate with team members through remote pairing periodically • Join Frontend/Backend guild led architecture workshops

Requirements

• Previous significant experience as a developer in a professional setting • Strong supporter of highly collaborative Product minded development environments • Relative autonomous in writing well designed and tested code (strong preference for TDD) • Fluent in English • Deep familiarity with at least one of core languages (Javascript, Typescript, Ruby) • Experience with frameworks/libraries (Sinatra, Rails, Hanami, Angular, React, Next.JS) • Experience with responsive design realization (strong CSS skills, mobile-first web development and/or experience building PWAs) • Understanding of good automated testing practices and ideally be a TDD practitioner (experience with rspec/minispec, capybara, cucumber, jasmine, karma, mocha, chai, jest, enzymejs, cypress) • Highly collaborative attitude and be willing to spend 80+% of the time doing pair programming • Familiar with at least one Agile framework • Know git inside out and be familiar with "Git Feature Branch Workflow" • Have a dev-ops mindset and culture.
