Senior Software Engineer, Frontend

Description

• Build production React applications • Develop client-facing account and self-service user interfaces, including dashboards and document viewers • Integrate applications with REST APIs and third-party hosted services • Handle asynchronous, loading, and error states • Build and maintain a design system using a utility-first CSS framework • Implement data visualizations using Recharts, D3, Chart.js, or similar libraries • Optimize web performance and measure and audit WCAG accessibility standards • Work with AWS services including S3/CloudFront static hosting and Lambda-backed APIs • Use Vite or comparable modern build tooling • Own and support production systems after launch • Collaborate closely with designers

Requirements

• 5+ years building production React applications • Strong TypeScript proficiency • Deep experience with modern React, including hooks, Suspense, code-splitting, and a router library • Experience integrating with REST APIs and handling async/loading/error states • Hands-on experience with a utility-first CSS framework • Experience building and maintaining a design system • Production experience with a data visualization library such as Recharts, D3, Chart.js, or similar • Practical web performance optimization experience • Ability to measure, implement, and audit WCAG accessibility standards • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience • Experience building a client-facing account/self-service UI that hands off cleanly to a third-party hosted service • AWS familiarity, including S3/CloudFront static hosting and Lambda-backed APIs • Experience with Vite or comparable modern build tooling • Prior experience on a team owning production systems post-launch • Design background or close working history with designers
