Senior Software Engineer

Description

• build resilient and scalable APIs for Aetna Health customers using cloud technologies • partner and collaborate with various stakeholders to translate business requirements into solutions • work closely with Product Management, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Architecture teams • write code, develop software components, and implement complex functionalities • integrate various software components or systems • write and execute test cases, conduct code reviews, perform debugging • participate in SAFe agile or other development methodologies • explore new tools, frameworks, and techniques to improve digital solutions • create and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience • 3+ years of NodeJS development with TypeScript or Javascript • 3+ years of Cloud Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) • 2+ years of experience with domain driven design (DDD) and microservice architectures • 2+ years of experience designing architectural solutions based off product requirements and considerations for both server and client needs • 2+ years of experience with monitoring and observability and building scalable services • 2+ years of experience implementing various database solutions (SQL/NoSQL DB)
