Description

• Architect and lead development of scalable solutions • Make high-level technical decisions • Translate business needs into technical requirements and epic plans • Implement scalable, secure, low-latency, highly available web applications and APIs • Design, build, debug, and maintain efficient, reusable, reliable, and readable code • Execute the full software development lifecycle • Leverage AI-assisted coding tools while verifying code quality and preventing 'AI slop' • Follow industry standards for securing applications and data • Perform validation and verification testing • Write automated integration and unit tests • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback • Document and maintain software functionality • Balance completed tasks against implementing perfect or elegant solutions • Participate in and evolve agile processes and sprint planning • Improve team velocity and quality • Elevate the team through creative and critical thinking • Mentor and guide the broader team • Develop, design, and own new products and features from the ground up • Shape architecture and integrate next-generation AI capabilities into the platform • Help drive the technical roadmap as the company scales

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SaaS development • Track record of successfully designing, building, and maintaining products in production • Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript, React, Node.js, NestJS, Prisma, and object-oriented design • Openness to similar modern frameworks • Proven ability in AI-assisted development, including managing AI harnesses, optimizing prompts, maintaining code quality, and detecting and remediating 'AI slop' • Strong grasp of automated testing, including unit and integration testing • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git/GitHub, and cloud infrastructure using AWS/containers • Self-driven and communicative professional with creative problem-solving skills • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team • Preferred: experience with Flutter/native applications • Preferred: experience with relational databases and schemas to third normal form • Preferred: experience with analytical data pipelines and star schemas, especially dbt and Snowflake • Preferred: experience with AWS infrastructure, especially Terraform • Preferred: understanding of UI/UX best practices and design systems such as Material Design • Preferred: strong eye for visual hierarchy and consistent spacing
