Senior Software Developer

Description

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven systems and workflows that improve internal efficiency and accelerate business impact

• Build agentic AI applications, multi-model pipelines, evaluation frameworks, and integrations with existing systems

• Collaborate with engineers, product designers, and product managers to design, review, and build AI-powered software

• Partner with content, marketing, and operations teams to identify and deliver AI-driven workflows that improve efficiency and close knowledge gaps

• Architect and implement agentic systems, multi-model pipelines, and evaluation frameworks using modern AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph)

• Engage in an agile and iterative workflow to expediently launch new AI functionalities

• Improve engineering quality through documentation, experimentation, and establishing best practices for AI development

• Monitor, evaluate, and refine AI system performance using benchmarks, evals, and production metrics to ensure reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency

• Break down product requirements and research opportunities into manageable technical tasks and roadmaps

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering

• At least 1–2 years working directly with AI/ML systems in production

• Proficiency with LLM frameworks and libraries (LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent)

• Experience with vector databases, RAG pipelines, and evaluation frameworks

• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)

• Experience with containerization (Docker) and APIs

• Familiarity with modern backend languages and frameworks (Node.js, JS, Python, or Typescript/NestJS)

• Knowledgeable about observability and cost/quality monitoring for AI systems (Datadog, custom dashboards, LLM usage analytics)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proven ability to design, implement, and iterate on scalable AI-powered applications and workflows

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and experience working in fast-paced startup environments

• Nice to have: Experience with multimodal AI (text, vision, audio), model fine-tuning, or benchmarking across multiple LLM providers

• Must be located in one of these US states: California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Washington
