• Lead the design and development of responsive, accessible, high-performance web applications with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Architect and maintain shared front-end libraries, components, and tooling across multiple applications
• Mentor developers on advanced JavaScript/TypeScript concepts, helping close knowledge gaps and strengthening the team’s technical foundation
• Lead cross-application architecture decisions for microfrontend implementations
• Collaborate across disciplines (backend engineers, designers, product owners) to deliver complete, end-to-end features
• Adapt quickly to new challenges, applying strong problem-solving skills to deliver solutions across the stack — including backend services, databases, infrastructure, or wherever else the need arises
• Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure code quality and system stability
• Champion accessibility, performance, and security best practices
• Stay curious and bring forward new ideas to improve our applications and workflows
• Contribute to a collaborative Agile process through code reviews, ceremonies, and continuous improvement
• Participate in an on-call rotation, supporting production applications and collaborating with teammates to quickly diagnose and resolve issues
• Extensive professional experience building modern front-end applications with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js
• Advanced TypeScript proficiency (complex types, generics, architectural patterns)
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, or similar)
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in collaboration with backend teams
• Familiarity with web standards and accessibility guidelines
• Proven ability to contribute across the stack and see projects through to successful delivery
• Experience mentoring and providing technical leadership on a development team
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and lead initiatives to completion
