Description

• Collaborate with other team members by sharing experience and knowledge to solve problems • Look for ways to improve processes and functionality to further deliver increased value to Mindgrub and its clients • Participate in all aspects of engineering projects • Self-improvement through constant learning • Be aware of project budgets and timelines • Be accountable for project deliverables • Participate in peer code reviews and provide feedback • Be accountable for project deliverables, budget, and client needs • Ensure projects are following Mindgrub standard processes • Interact with clients on an as-needed basis to provide project updates and information • Participate in the new candidate interview process • Research and evaluate solutions, features, and related technologies that fulfill project requirements, augment and improve the application, and anticipate future client needs • Responsible for producing task-level Levels of Effort (LOEs) • Design, build, and maintain responsive web applications using React and TypeScript • Develop reusable, accessible UI components and scalable front-end architecture • Implement client-side state management, routing, data fetching, error handling, and performance optimization • Collaborate with product, design, QA, backend engineering, and client stakeholders to translate product and UX requirements into polished web experiences

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen • Remote; 9:00am - 5:00pm EST preferred; 40 hrs / wk • July through January with potential to extend • Preferred to have an undergraduate or graduate technical degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field • 4+ years of professional front-end development experience using React and JavaScript or TypeScript • Depth in experience with React, TypeScript, semantic HTML, modern CSS, and front-end build tooling • Experience designing reusable component libraries or design systems and managing complex client-side state • Experience testing React applications with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing tools • Sound understanding of web accessibility, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and front-end performance • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (such as Git), and modern development workflows • Strong communication skills with the ability to discuss any issues with a wide variety of individuals and groups • Must be able to attend meetings virtually • Ability to work autonomously
