Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Description

• Partner with Product and Design to translate business requirements into technical designs • Build scalable full-stack applications using Node.js, Vue.js/React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and cloud-native technologies • Leverage AI-assisted development and agentic coding workflows throughout implementation • Conduct AI-assisted code reviews and analysis to identify defects, security risks, architectural inconsistencies, duplication, and reuse opportunities • Develop and continuously improve automated unit, integration, end-to-end, regression, and performance testing • Own production deployment through automated CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices • Monitor production health through observability, performance monitoring, alerting, and incident response • Use AI-assisted analysis for troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and remediation • Continuously improve product quality, reliability, performance, and maintainability using telemetry, customer behavior, incidents, and engineering metrics • Architect scalable services and cloud-native applications using Node.js and modern application frameworks • Build dynamic, responsive user experiences using Vue.js/React and JavaScript/TypeScript • Design APIs, services, and integration patterns for reusable capabilities • Build serverless and containerized applications for scalable cloud deployment • Design for performance, security, resilience, observability, and maintainability • Champion AI-driven software engineering practices across the development lifecycle • Adopt AI development tools, coding agents, and engineering automation • Write clean, modular, reusable, and maintainable code • Participate in technical design and code reviews • Contribute to architecture decisions and platform improvements • Share AI-assisted engineering techniques and best practices • Own features and services from concept and technical design through deployment, monitoring, and optimization • Collaborate with Product, Design, Platform, CloudOps, and engineering teams • Identify and remove technical blockers • Communicate technical concepts, design decisions, risks, and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Build documentation enabling engineers to understand, maintain, and extend the work

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in server-side JavaScript/TypeScript development with Node.js • Hands-on experience with Vue.js and/or React • Deep understanding of modern JavaScript, TypeScript, API design, and distributed application architecture • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases in production environments • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL services • Hands-on experience building and operating cloud-native applications • Strong understanding of automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and modern DevOps practices • Hands-on experience using AI-powered software development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or comparable coding agents • Ability to use AI across multiple stages of the software development lifecycle • Strong engineering fundamentals and judgment to evaluate, test, and improve AI-generated solutions • Independent problem-solving ability from concept through production • Strong ownership and urgency with a track record of completing work • AI-first and continuous-learning mindset • Commitment to high-quality, thoroughly tested, maintainable software • Collaborative approach and belief in teamwork, knowledge sharing, and collective ownership • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience • 8+ years of hands-on software development experience • Strong analytical, architectural, and problem-solving skills • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, continuously evolving engineering environment • Passion for building exceptional user experiences • Commitment to engineering excellence across architecture, code quality, testing, documentation, deployment, and production operations
