Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and established software engineering practices • Build modern web applications using React, TypeScript, reusable components, responsive layouts, and accessible interaction patterns • Develop and consume REST APIs using an API-first approach • Maintain clear OpenAPI/Swagger contracts and error handling • Design modular, maintainable solutions using microservices and object-oriented and event-driven design patterns • Use Node.js for lightweight services, backend-for-frontend components, integrations, or development tooling • Design and optimize PostgreSQL data models and queries with attention to integrity, performance, and audit history • Design and implement integrations with internal and external systems using REST APIs, webhooks, messaging, and other integration patterns • Containerize applications and contribute to cloud-based deployment patterns, configuration management, and environment consistency • Build and maintain Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, quality gates, and repeatable deployments • Instrument applications with structured logging, metrics, tracing, and actionable error reporting • Troubleshoot functional and production issues and improve application performance, resilience, scalability, and maintainability • Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, DevOps, Architecture, and other engineers through design sessions, code reviews, planning, and continuous improvement

Requirements

• 6+ years of full-stack software development experience, including ownership of production applications • Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring technologies, particularly Spring Boot, REST services, persistence, security, and automated testing • Solid frontend development experience with Angular or React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, component-based design, state management, and modern testing practices • Familiarity with Node.js for lightweight services, integrations, build tooling, or supporting components • Proven experience designing REST APIs, microservices, and maintainable applications in distributed environments • Strong SQL skills and experience designing efficient data models in PostgreSQL or comparable relational databases • Experience developing, deploying, or supporting cloud-based and containerized applications • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to produce clear technical documentation and lead client-facing workshops • Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and secure API design • Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or comparable messaging and event-streaming technologies • Familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud platforms, observability tooling, and secure software delivery practices • Experience with Workforce Management (WFM) applications or WFM platforms is nice to have • Experience with AWS services and Amazon Connect is nice to have • Experience building applications for CX solutions, contact centers, or customer service environments is nice to have • Knowledge of forecasting, scheduling, adherence, routing, agent desktop, digital channels, or related operational concepts is nice to have • Experience integrating applications with CRM, identity, HR, payroll, analytics, or other enterprise systems is nice to have • Practical experience with AI-assisted software development or AI-enabled solutions, including Claude or GitHub Copilot, is a plus
