Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Description

• Design and develop high-quality new solutions and features, setting the standard for code quality and best practices

• Take ownership of projects and lead/manage sub-projects within the product

• Maintain and optimize existing codebase for performance, scalability, and security

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex software challenges and architect innovative solutions

• Build and improve the Nordhealth Booking Portal focusing on user experience, mobile optimization, and security for millions of users

• Mentor colleagues and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a significant focus on front-end or full-stack development

• Expertise in TypeScript, Javascript and React, with proven experience building complex applications with NextJS

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (ECS, S3, Aurora)

• Ability to thrive in a remote team environment, work independently and mentor others

• Strong problem-solving skills and passion for continuous learning

• Adaptability and resilience in the face of challenges

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and capability to take ownership of projects

• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal

• Attention to detail, especially when it comes to security

• Design skills would be beneficial, but not mandatory

• Familiarity with the tech stack: NextJS v14, Typescript, Vite, Docker, PostgreSQL v15 (AWS Aurora), Nord Design System, Tailwind, AWS (Lambda, SQS, ECS, ALB, S3), GitLab CI, Prisma ORM xr

• Experience with security tools such as Semgrep and AWS Security Hub
