Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, robust systems while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a culture of technical excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software systems, ensuring efficiency, reusability, and adherence to best practices.
• Provide technical leadership, guiding design decisions and ensuring best practices are followed.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, offering constructive feedback to maintain high standards of quality and performance.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor and support the growth of junior engineers, fostering continuous learning and improvement.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges, developing innovative solutions.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and advocate for process improvements to enhance team efficiency and product quality.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to support development and maintenance activities.

Requirements

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or 5+ years of relevant experience).
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on web application development.
• Proficiency in:
• Node.js, React, or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Python, TypeScript, and Postgres databases.
• Git, Docker, and Linux environments.
• Strong understanding of APIs, software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Nice to Have

• Experience in SaaS Management or Software Asset Management.
• Advanced degree or equivalent experience.
• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
