• Deliver experiences used by thousands of Paddle customers
• Fine tune and future proof existing applications
• Work with colleagues across product and engineering to ensure a cohesive customer-facing developer experience
• Develop new functionality to empower product teams and support customers in pricing, billing and growth
• Help design a stable platform to support phenomenal growth
• Mentor and coach other engineers
• Work with AWS products (CloudFront, S3, etc.) to ensure performant and reliable service
• Drive front-end best practices and long-term engineering decisions
• Help shape team and wider engineering culture to keep Paddle an exceptional place to work
• Technical skill set includes: Next.js, TypeScript, Javascript, React/Vue, Node, RTL/Jest, Jenkins or other CI/CD platform
• Implemented high performing front-end applications in agile Product teams
• Experience working closely with Product designers and pairing for ideation sessions
• Strong understanding of API principles and best practices
• Keen eye for good UX and DX
• Proven track record showing bias for action and strong customer focus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proven success working with complex problems and ambiguity
• Experience mentoring and coaching other engineers
• Experience with AWS products (including CloudFront, S3)
