Senior Frontend Engineer

Description

• Building workspace and community features • Debugging real-time SSE connections and state management • Writing and reviewing database migrations • Implementing role-based access control • Deploying to production via GitHub Actions • Code reviewing PRs and maintaining code quality

Requirements

• 7+ years professional web development • Expertise in Next.js 14+ (App Router required, not Pages Router) • Strong TypeScript/Javascript experience • PostgreSQL with database migration experience • Authentication systems (NextAuth.js or similar) • Real-time features (Server-Sent Events, WebSockets, or similar) • Production deployment experience • Strong understanding of Server vs Client Components and when to use each • Nice to Haves: Flyway database migrations (or similar migration tools) • Fly.io deployment experience • Stripe or payment integration experience • Experience with AI/LLM integration • IoT or embedded systems background • Previous work on developer tools or platforms • Familiarity with monorepo structures • Radix UI / shadcn/ui component libraries
