• Work with clients' engineering organizations to deliver app experiences across several streaming platforms built on a common platform and shared technology.
• Build the core sign-up, purchase, and subscription management experiences of the Web platform as a member of the Web Commerce and Identity team.
• Serve as a high-level technical resource and “go-to” person, solving sophisticated technical challenges and finding opportunities to improve systems, products, and services.
• Architect complex technical changes, knowledge-share, and obtain buy-in for solutions.
• Integrate with third-party APIs and SDKs and ensure production-level scalability and performance.
• Mentor and support other developers; design workflows and delegate tasks; collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• 4+ years experience building highly scalable and performant production level web applications.
• Demonstrated ability to architect complex technical changes, to knowledge-share, and get buy-in for their solutions.
• An interest in writing well-documented, clear, and robust code.
• Experience working within a modern Javascript workflow.
• Proven ability to integrate with third party systems (ex: APIs, SDKs, etc).
• Highly diligent with the ability to see projects from beginning to end; designing workflows and delegating tasks to team members.
• Quickly learn, understand, and adapt to new technologies; identifying root causes and driving solutions to highly sophisticated problems.
• Exhibits emotional intelligence, supervising oneself under high pressure situations and meets urgent timelines.
• Ability to support and mentor other developers by building trust, identifying goals, encouraging, instructing, and providing constructive feedback.
• Optimally collaborates and communicates with team members and multi-functional partners, engaging technical topics with clarity.
• Experience shipping a production React/Node.js application.
• Experience writing code with Typescript.
• Experience with developing applications in cloud platforms (e.g. AWS).
• Experience working with Agile methodologies.
• Working knowledge of web accessibility fundamentals.
