• Collaborate to break down and implement new features • Write clean, efficient, well-tested, and well-documented code • Own work and partner with QA to ensure appropriate application testing and complete tests • Establish standards and advocate for performance optimization, scalability, and maintainability • Identify technical debt and collaborate with the team to minimize it • Direct and support decisions for new frameworks and technical direction • Review pull requests and provide constructive feedback to help team members grow • Collaborate with the Bitwarden open-source community to review contributions and address GitHub issues
• Extensive experience with Angular, TypeScript, and RxJS for front-end development • Strong technical writing skills and ability to clearly communicate complex problems • Understanding of relational database design and optimization • SQL Server experience is a strong plus • Rust experience for cross-platform SDK development is a strong plus • Collaborative and adaptable mindset • Openness and authenticity combined with excellent communication skills • Excitement and enthusiasm for open source and internet security • Excellent problem-solving skills • Nice-to-have: Bitwarden user • Nice-to-have: Startup experience • Nice-to-have: Open source experience • Nice-to-have: Node.js and Electron experience • Nice-to-have: Claude Code or similar generative AI coding platform experience • Must be located in the U.S. • Visa sponsorship is not offered
