The TrueContext Engineering team is looking for a Senior Front End Engineer to join us in building powerful yet intuitive tools for our customers. You will be embedded into a team where we work collaboratively in short cycles to deploy production-ready code as often as possible. Ideally, you are someone who is as passionate about learning and helping others learn, as you are about building great products.
In this role you will
- Play a key role in the design & implementation of new web front-end foundations
- Build and evolve front-end applications using React, Redux/MobX, Jest, TypeScript, and CSS while following functional programming principles
- Write unit/integration tests for front-end components & functions
- Work closely with UX to build intuitive capabilities into our web apps
- Add to our shared UI component library and build functional demos to demonstrate behaviour
- Practice collective code ownership where readability and ease of change are primary concerns
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency with a modern front-end framework e.g React, Vue, Angular
- Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks and error logging
- Experience developing resilient web applications that balance scalability, usability, and extensibility
- Understanding of the full stack within a front-end application and its interactions with backends via APIs
- Fundamental understanding of web technology stack (e.g. HTTP, cookies, headers) and modern web standards
- A collaborative team player with strong communication skills
- Bonus Points: Experience in ownership of a complete web application lifecycle from CI pipelines to deployment into Cloud environments using IaC
