Senior Front-End Engineer

Description

• Lead the design and development of responsive, intuitive user interfaces for the digital health platform

• Develop modern, responsive, and accessible front-end applications using React, React Native, Typescript, and Next.js

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and Product Managers to implement pixel-perfect experiences

• Build and maintain reusable components, design systems, and front-end libraries

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, performance, and accessibility compliance

• Integrate with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and contribute to system architecture planning

• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to maintain code quality and reliability

• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies

• Use GitHub, Jira, and Confluence to manage workflows and documentation

• Contribute to experimentation and innovation in applying AI to front-end development

• Hands-on role delivering clean, scalable code while collaborating closely with product, design, and backend teams

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required

• Bachelor degree preferred or relevant experience in lieu of degree

• 10+ years of front-end engineering experience, including React and JavaScript frameworks

• Experience building SaaS platforms or consumer-facing web applications

• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design

• Familiarity with front-end tooling such as Webpack, Babel, ESLint, and testing libraries

• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and working in microservices environments

• Experience with React Native, Javascript, Typescript, and Next.js

• Experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs

• Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests

• Experience using GitHub, Jira, and Confluence

• Commitment to clean, scalable code and attention to performance optimization

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment with cross-functional collaboration

• Desire to learn and master a variety of AI tools to increase speed for coding, UX personalization, and QA
