The Company

At RBC, our culture is deeply supportive and rich in opportunity and reward. You will help our clients thrive and our communities prosper, empowered by a spirit of shared purpose.

Role Summary

RBC Royal Bank is seeking a Senior Front End Software Engineer for our US Cash Management Technology. This is a green field project to build a brand-new system to serve our corporate clients. You will be heavily involved in shaping the future technology landscape of RBC, by delivering key business values for a transformational project in our Banking Technology while implementing strategic components servicing across all RBC functions defined in our roadmap.

We are looking for a skilled React.js developer to join our front-end development team working on building a Developer Portal. We are building multiple micro-services which will be used by our clients as well internal developers. To make their work more engaging and fun, as well as more productive, we are building a developer portal based on backstage.io that serves as a daily cockpit for engineers. The developer portal is an open, highly extensible platform powered by a centralized service catalog. It creates transparency of our service landscape by making services discoverable and by surfacing related metadata and resources like documentation, deployments, pipelines, or sandbox environments. It provides team pages as entry points for developers that show the team's services and their health in terms of operations, cost, and security, as well as API-based metrics.

What will you do?
