Senior Backend Engineer

Description

• This is a full remote role, but you must be within UTC-3 to UTC+3 to work with your team, colleagues, and internal customers.

• Join Checkly as a Senior Backend Engineer and empower developers to own and ensure application performance and reliability - from pull request to post-mortem!

• Checkly helps engineers build reliable products by unifying testing, monitoring and observability.

• Our backend runs on Hapi.js, Golang and an AWS based monitoring infrastructure, distributed around the world.

• You will help us build out new features and expand existing features.

Requirements

• You have in-depth experience in building applications in a professional product (SaaS) environment, ideally with TypeScript / Golang/Javascript/node.js

• You want to have business impacts and the immediate visibility that a start-up offers.

• You enjoy working in a growing company with experienced founders.

• You assume good intentions and are a great communicator in spoken and written English.

• You have the ability to work autonomously and self-motivated in a remote work environment, while also enjoying getting to know your colleagues and helping others.

• You are quick to pick up new things and enjoy the process of learning new things.

• You love to develop software!
