Requirements

  • Experience with running commodity hardware and servers at scale such as managing multiple instances on AWS, OVH, Azure etc.
  • Experience running blockchain nodes and modifying blockchain node software, particularly geth, OP stack, and any zk rollup.
  • Has multiple prior contributions to open source node software or open source DeFi protocols that are of sufficient complexity (contributions should be publicly verifiable).
  • Proficient in 2 of the following programming languages: Go, Rust, Javascript/Typescript, Python.

Candidates should be able to design and reason about blockchain architecture and contribute novel ideas to developing unique blockchain software that does not exist yet. Such as unique blockspace markets and designing modular node components for data-availability (DA) and multi-VM execution environments.

Important

  • MUST be self directed and have initiative, given basic criteria for a task. We are flexible with execution and design.
  • Willing to work Pacific Time give or take a few hours

Nice to Have

  • Work experience at a “Top” crypto organization: Coinbase, Uniswap, Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum, Lido, Cosmos, Binance, Kraken, Polygon etc etc - ie a well known crypto company with a lot of users building highly scalable systems with a lot of data.
  • Experience designing unique mechanisms/protocols at the blockchain level (like mempool searchers/MEV and advanced DeFi dapps)
  • Prior experience running/staking ETH consensus forming nodes directly.
