• Design, develop, and implement AI-powered features that improve patient engagement, care coordination, claims management, and operational efficiency • Use Claude Code and related AI development tools to build, test, troubleshoot, and maintain full-stack software products • Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and clinical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, user-focused solutions • Develop APIs, backend services, automation pipelines, and LLM integrations that support intelligent product capabilities • Apply software engineering, DevOps, and MLOps practices to testing, deployment, monitoring, security, and performance optimization • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and implementation approaches to improve product functionality and engineering workflows • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure project success
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, product engineering, or full-stack application development • Demonstrated proficiency using Claude Code to develop functional software products, including implementing features, debugging code, and validating results • Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or comparable programming languages • Experience developing frontend components, backend services, and APIs • Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into applications through APIs, prompt engineering, AI agents, generative AI workflows, or retrieval augmented generation (RAG) • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including reviewing AI-generated code for correctness, security, maintainability, and test coverage • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and contribute effectively in a remote Agile environment • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, along with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines • Familiarity with Cursor, Codex, OpenAI APIs, Anthropic APIs, vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, or AI orchestration frameworks • Experience developing deployed AI applications or supporting healthcare, payer/provider, federal government, or Department of Veterans Affairs technology initiatives • U.S. Citizenship is required • All selected candidates must successfully complete a background check • Ability to obtain and maintain a Government/Public Trust clearance, including required fingerprinting, when required for the position • Sponsorship is not available
