React Engineer

Description

• Design, build, and maintain React applications delivering reporting and analytics experiences hosted in Snowflake • Translate existing Tableau dashboards and new reporting requirements into performant, maintainable React components • Partner with data and analytics engineers to connect front-end applications to Snowflake data sources and semantic models • Provide hands-on React training and mentoring to data/analytics engineers, BI developers, and analysts through pairing, workshops, and documentation • Develop features using AI-assisted workflows as a regular part of the engineering process, applied thoughtfully within platform standards • Report to the Director of Data Engineering

Requirements

• Solid working knowledge of React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and front-end build tooling • Familiarity with data visualization/charting libraries • Comfortable working with SQL and cloud data warehouses; Snowflake preferred • Strong communication skills, with ability to explain React concepts to engineers and analysts without a front-end background • Hands-on experience developing with AI-assisted workflows, including AI coding assistants and agentic development tools, in a professional setting • Patient, collaborative teaching style with genuine interest in developing others • 3+ years of professional experience building applications with React • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
