React Engineer

If you’re a highly motivated self-starter interested in working on next generation user experiences that will be used in millions of vehicles world-wide … then we may have a role for you! As a React Developer, you will be involved in full lifecycle of software development.

More specifically, you will be responsible for participating in the design and development of UI frameworks and API frameworks to enable the development of services and applications to allow users to interact with features such as navigation, media, entertainment, phone, voice, and vehicle settings.

Top Skills Details

• 3+ years of professional work experience using React hooks and creating custom hooks

• Expert in JavaScript ES6, experience with closures, concurrency model/event loops

• Experience building API frameworks in React

• Experience communicating with stakeholders

• Experience with test frameworks such as JEST

• Experience with Linux

• 3+ years of experience with Typescript

• Understanding of basic design patterns - i.e. Singleton


Responsibilities

• Writing abstractions that other developers will utilize.

• Maintain and manage change in shared code base.

• Profile changes for run time memory and CPU load, and other performance impacts.

• Document & explain to developers how API’s work and how they should be used.

• Adapt to changing requirements and developer’s needs.

• Debug framework and application code.
