React Developer

About the Job

We're growing fast and need a talented React Developer to turn business needs and customer journeys into top-notch technical features. Reporting to our Head of Change, you'll work on exciting projects using modern technology to build cutting-edge software applications. Your hands-on coding will be crucial in our quest to disrupt the pet ecosystem.

What You'll Do:

• Craft and maintain high-quality code in JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS.
• Translate technical issues for both tech and non-tech stakeholders.
• Drive the design, development, and commercialisation of innovative software.
• Engage in design and code reviews.
• Keep the team updated on progress, risks, and milestones.
• Contribute to our documentation and knowledge base.
• Ensure every application is tested for usability, robustness, and reliability

Requirements

• Experience in multi-disciplinary teams (Designers, Engineers, Architects) in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong understanding of web services, including RESTful APIs and different message formats (JSON, XML).
• Proven experience in Agile/DevOps frameworks, supporting CI/CD, and containerisation tools (e.g., Azure pipelines, Gitlab, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Highly organised, self-motivated, and a team player.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and database technology (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
