Principal Full Stack Developer (Web Graphics)

Autodesk’s Platform and Production Management team is hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer (Web Graphics). You will work closely with our media and entertainment customers and product teams to define the next generation of solutions that enable creative teams to work efficiently, do their best work, and impact millions of people. Reporting to our Senior Manager of Software Development, you will apply your expertise in browser-based playback technologies and their integration into a distributed cloud platform. Job Responsibilities

• Lead the development of Flow Production Tracking and Flow Platform web playback technologies in the platform for the entertainment and media industry.
• Keep Flow platform production tracking and playback technologies up to date with industry standards and trends.
• Extend the platform through new application experiences and services
• Actively participate in the definition, design, architecture, implementation and testing of applications.
• Mentor and train other developers, sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Align with cross-functional and remote teams involved in the project.
• Fully engage in our Agile process and help improve it.

Job Requirements

• More than 8 years of experience in web application development (JavaScript ES6, Typescript, CSS)
• Experience with media playback technology
• Experience with web graphics technology (Canvas, WebGL API)
• Working experience in implementing user interfaces with React, React Hooks, Context
• Experience in developing high-level SaaS applications on AWS
• Experience with automated testing technologies such as Cypress or Jest
• Interest in computer graphics and mathematics
• Evidence of user-centered thinking and a team player attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with backend technologies (Ruby, Go, SQL, ...)
