Company: Factorial
Salary: Not provided
Location: Barcelona, Spain
At Factorial we're looking for a Mid/Senior Software Developer to help us to help us boost the company to the next level. 🦄 Ready to be part of the challenge?🚀
We are looking for a Software developer driven by business. You will be working in growth projects inside of the product.
For example, building the new self-service system to capture potential customers, developing product-led growth opportunities or creating a new onboarding.
You’ll be close to business metrics to analyze the impact of your decisions and solutions.
We are not looking for a long list of skills and technologies. We believe that someone who has good aptitudes and is hungry for learning is what works best.
Most of our growth projects are built in React and TypeScript. We also use Ruby on Rails. But as we said, consider applying even if you know better other technologies (we think this can be also enrichment for the team).
At Factorial we don't evaluate you by the years of experience you have, we evaluate your knowledge and skills. How are we doing it?
We have a Career Path with a rubric framework where we define what is expected for each experience level and skill we're evaluating. This framework will allow you to know at which level you're right now and what you need to continue growing in the company.
As we love transparency (it's one of our hiring values), our Career Path includes the salaries for each level and we share it during the first interview to make sure we're aligned.
We're a remote-friendly company so you can apply from anywhere in the world, which English is our official language so this is the only one you need to succeed at Factorial!
And when at the office:
Is this you?! Come rock the world with us! 🚀 We #betonpeople 💜
We know applying for a job takes time, that's why we want to make the experience as better and fast as we can!
Hiring Manager Interview (1h) The first thing is to know each other and give you the chance to ask any questions you have about Factorial. Take this interview as an informal conversation, so don't be nervous. You can ask anything you want!
Challenge (8h max.) We need to validate your knowledge and estimate your level before joining Factorial. The challenge is pretty simple, we will evaluate your coding process, your ability to write clean code, your ability to analyze and test your solution, and your capacity to prioritize the project and your decisions.
Presentation (1h) Once you finish the challenge, we'll do a second interview with the rest of the team to present your challenge and ask you different questions about your decision-making.
Offer Letter If everything plays out, we'll make you a formal offer based on all the steps above.
