Lead Software Engineer

Description

• act as a product-team problem solver and domain SME to design, test, and deliver best in class solutions

• coordinate work with moderate complexity within assigned product team

• lead a full-stack software engineering team focused on modernizing the pricing ecosystem

• collaborate across multiple teams in Dick’s Technology department to deliver pricing solutions

• design, code, and seamlessly integrate with frameworks and APIs

• guide others and utilize the Angular Framework to develop and deliver high-quality code

• establish clear engineering requirements and timelines

• perpetuate an engineering culture that thrives on clean code

• collaborate seamlessly with designers, product managers, and engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred

• 6-10 years of experience

• 7-12 months experience of generalist supervision of junior colleague

• deep understanding of Cloud architecture

• extensive experience in web development technologies using JSON, HTML, and CSS preprocessors

• extensive experience in JavaScript/Typescript and asynchronous call structures

• extensive experience with Angular, Typescript, RxJs, and other web technologies

• experience with Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot (8+ years)

• extensive experience with Unit Testing and Test Coverage technologies

• familiarity with git-based source control
