About the department

Our agile Development team are responsible for building internal and client-facing applications, including research, data, analytics and interactive investment tools.

The development team at Redington makes a big impact on the business. We are an agile team, who all believe in continuous improvement and learning. Making an impact on a business is about trust. It's about aligning with the important priorities. It's about focus and efficiency and ultimately, delivering results. We put emphasis on testing, continuous integration and efficient deployments.

About The Role

We have an entry level position in one of our teams for a Junior Software Engineer.

You will get stuck in with all aspects of development. Everyone on the team is expected to take part in: planning, requirements gathering, implementation, testing, dev-ops and support.

We are looking for someone who shares our beliefs and aims, and our passion for developing. Above all we want a candidate looking to make a meaningful contribution to our team and for our business.

Location: For this role we are open to candidates being based in Bristol or London, and the position will be predominantly remote with the opportunity to visit our office in London

Qualifications

This role is for you if you..

• Have a solid comprehension of software design principles and models
• Are experienced with C# and ideally .NET Core
• Have familiarity with databases such as SQL Server or MongoDB
• Have some knowledge of a frontend Typescript framework (ideally React)
• Have an understanding of automated testing techniques
• Are familiar with Agile working concepts
