Junior Front-End Software Engineer

Description

• Design, build, and ship high-quality product experiences from concept through production • Write elegant, well-tested code • Work across the stack from interface through API to database • Use Cursor and Claude Code as part of an AI-first development workflow • Prototype and validate quickly with real patients and care teams • Build reusable, well-architected patterns for scale • Make AI and automation behavior transparent, reliable, and trustworthy • Champion performance, accessibility, and reliability • Debug and optimize collaboratively • Document effective AI prompts, patterns, and workflows • Work directly with the CEO and CTO • Build software infrastructure serving as the backbone of telehealth

Requirements

• 1+ Years of experience • Highly skilled in React, TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind, and JavaScript • Backend skills in tRPC, Drizzle ORM, SQL, Node, and SST • Ability to work independently and own entire projects or large areas of the codebase • Strong experience building paid products and services preferred • React Native or Expo experience is a plus • Strong communication skills to articulate technical problems, constraints, and timelines • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, unstructured startup environment • Full-stack generalist who has taken a product from 0 to 1 • Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to roll up sleeves
