Full Stack Web Developer

Description

• Develop, enhance, and maintain secure web applications using C#/.NET, Python, JavaScript, and SQL Server • Create and iterate functional prototypes based on business or market requirements using AI-assisted development tools • Support application modernization, integrations, bug fixing, and performance improvements across the web application stack • Collaborate with team members and customers to clarify requirements, estimate solutions, and deliver working software • Communicate ideas, issues, risks, and impediments on time to support predictable delivery • Contribute to code quality through unit testing, clean design, maintainable implementation, and secure development practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered • Mid-level English proficiency for written and verbal communication with internal teams and customers • 5+ years of professional web application development experience using C# and .NET / ASP.NET • 2+ years of hands-on Python development experience for backend services, scripting, automation, integrations, or prototyping • 5+ years of JavaScript experience, including practical use of jQuery and TypeScript • Experience with ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET MVC, ADO.NET, and Entity Framework 6 or higher • Working knowledge of Angular and modern front-end development practices • Strong SQL Server experience, including database design, queries, stored procedures, and performance-aware development • Solid understanding of code quality practices, unit testing, design patterns, SOLID principles, and Clean Code principles • Knowledge of application security practices, including OWASP, authentication hardening, SQL Server security, and prevention of SQL injection vulnerabilities • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Replit, or Google AI Studio • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue.js, or similar • Experience working in the insurance, financial services, or regulated industries • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS • Experience building functional prototypes or proof-of-concepts with AI-assisted development platforms
