Full Stack Front-End Developer, Mid

Description

• Research, design, develop, and modify enterprise-wide systems and application software • Plan system and development deployment and meet software compliance standards • Evaluate hardware/software interfaces, operational requirements, and overall system characteristics • Document testing and maintenance of system corrections • Develop and enhance Single Page Applications using TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React • Lead user experience modernization initiatives with responsive, accessible, intuitive interfaces • Implement workflow interfaces and automate business processes through SharePoint Framework, SharePoint APIs, Microsoft Graph API, Power Apps, and Power Automate integrations • Design and develop RESTful APIs and service layers for front-end/back-end integration • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on rapid iterative enhancements in an Agile environment • Apply secure application development practices to meet DoD security and compliance requirements • Perform unit and integration testing and support end-to-end quality assurance • Document technical solutions, user guides, and system configurations • Perform additional duties as assigned to advance mission goals

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) and responsive UI/UX development • Experience with modern state management (Context API, TanStack Query, Redux, or equivalent) • Experience with REST API development and integration with front-end applications • Solid understanding of Agile and iterative development methodologies • Experience translating business processes into software requirements and solutions • Active Secret clearance at the time of consideration, maintained thereafter • Must align with Eastern Time Zone core business hours • Software Development Analyst II: 2 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; 0 years with a Master's degree; or high school diploma/equivalent and 6 years relevant experience • Software Development III: 5 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 3 years with a Master's degree; 0 years with a PhD or Juris Doctorate; or high school diploma/equivalent and 9 years relevant experience • Preferred: hands-on experience with SharePoint Online, PnPjs, SharePoint REST API, Microsoft Graph API, SPFx, and Microsoft Power Platform • Preferred: full-stack development with .NET, Python (Flask/Django), or similar backend technologies • Preferred: modern front-end tooling, including TypeScript, Redux/Context API, CSS-in-JS, and responsive design frameworks • Preferred: experience modernizing legacy applications and implementing secure enterprise-grade solutions in DoD or federal environments • Preferred: familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git • Preferred: experience in SAFe Agile environments, PI planning, and Scrum/Kanban ceremonies • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach • Ability to maintain a secure home-work environment meeting company and government requirements • Ability to work assigned East Coast core business hours • Ability to remain stationary and operate standard computer equipment for prolonged periods • Ability to communicate effectively in virtual meetings, briefings, and secure collaboration environments • Ability to review and interpret digital data with attention to detail • Occasional ability to lift documents or equipment up to 10 lbs
